Jennifer & Seth

Yesterday, I was fortunate enough to spend the afternoon with my friend Jennifer. We've known each other since we were 13, but she lives in Santa Cruz now and I only see her about once a year if I'm lucky. She was kind enough to let me take some shots of her...these are all aperture priority f/1.8.

Also got these ones of my husband the other night. The first one has a white balance setting at incandescent, and the second one white balance is cloudy. Again aperture priority f/1.8. Someday soon I'll get a little braver and go manual all the way. You can tell he's a wee bit frustrated with me. We were on our way to the car, leaving a jazz show we went to. It was 11ish at night, and he was not feeling pose-ish. What a great sport, huh?
